Unfortunately, we are increasingly confronted with aggression in general practice. We do not tolerate physical or verbal aggression towards our staff. Such incidents will always be documented and discussed internally. We will take appropriate measures in accordance with the guidelines of the Royal Dutch Medical Association (KNMG). If necessary, we may ask you to register with another GP practice.

No-show policy

If you fail to attend your appointment without notifying us, or do not cancel your appointment in time, we are legally permitted to charge you for the lost consultation time as of 1 January 2011.

Our practice applies the following no-show fees:

• GP, practice nurse (POH) or medical assistant consultation: €25
• Surgical procedure consultation, smoking cessation consultation or Doppler examination: €50

There may, of course, always be understandable reasons for not attending or for cancelling an appointment late. Unexpected emergency situations can happen, and we fully understand this.

Please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance (on working days only), preferably via the e-portal. Please note: if you have an appointment on Monday, you must cancel it by Friday at the latest.

Under 16 = Minor

For minors under the age of 16, at least one parent or legal guardian must also be registered with our practice. This parent or guardian signs on behalf of the minor.

Following a divorce where both parents have joint parental responsibility, both parents must sign for the registration or deregistration of the child.

Young people aged 16 and over sign for themselves.

Deregistration

If you move and register with another GP, please inform us. We will ensure that your medical records can be transferred promptly when your new GP requests them.

Without your permission, we are not permitted to transfer your medical records, as this could result in your records being lost.

Updating contact details

Please inform us whenever your contact details change (e.g. telephone number, email address or insurance details). This helps us keep our records up to date and ensures that we can always reach you when necessary.
